A hand-wrought sterling silver three-stone ring set in smooth straight bezels, each stone a bright mint-green Emerald Valley turquoise veined with golden-brown matrix. The stones are stacked vertically in a classic formation. The three-prong split shank fans out from beneath in open parallel bands, each deeply stamped with diagonal hatching that carries the eye from the shank up to the stones. The underside reveals a fully finished bottom, stamped with a traditional motif with dotted border. Finished with a dark oxidized patina throughout. One of a kind, now held in a private collection.

  • Polish as needed. Oxidation occurs naturally to every piece left out in the open. A simple dry clean with a polishing cloth — or a soft handkerchief hanging around — should do the trick.

The stone is known for its green color — ranging from light lime to deep forest green — with a brown to golden matrix that gives each stone a distinctive mottled or veined appearance. High-quality natural material is still available, though selectively.
