A pair of hand-wrought sterling silver squash blossom earrings, each featuring a stamped rectangular plate on the first tier, dressed with a diamond and rope stamp pattern and hung from a sterling French hook ear wire. Suspended below, the squash blossom itself is a smooth hollow-formed silver bead opening into a fluted petal. Finished with a dark oxidized patina that pools into the stamp work and gives the pair a collected, old-pawn feel. One of a kind, now held in a private collection.

Polish as needed. Oxidation occurs naturally to every piece left out in the open. A simple dry clean with a polishing cloth — or a soft handkerchief hanging around — should do the trick.
