A hand-wrought sterling silver ring set with an oval Emerald Valley turquoise stone, its rich teal-green face threaded with golden-brown matrix, set in a smooth straight bezel. The wide face is flanked by chevron cutout stamps on each shoulder, accented above and below with starburst concho details that catch the light against the darkened silver. The band tapers down from the substantial face, carrying the stamp work and texture along the sides before narrowing toward the bottom running the length of the shank. Finished with a deep, aged patina that pools into every cut and stamp, giving the ring a worn, old-pawn authority. One of a kind, now held in a private collection.

  • Go easy on cuffs. Avoid bending cuffs too often, as repeated flexing wears down the silver and can cause cracking or breakage. Gently molding a cuff to your wrist for the initial fit is perfectly fine.
  • Polish as needed. Oxidation occurs naturally to every piece left out in the open. A simple dry clean with a polishing cloth — or a soft handkerchief hanging around — should do the trick.

The stone is known for its green color — ranging from light lime to deep forest green — with a brown to golden matrix that gives each stone a distinctive mottled or veined appearance. High-quality natural material is still available, though selectively.
