Stone Story

Manassa Turquoise comes from Conejos County, Colorado. I.P. King arrived from North Carolina looking for gold, found turquoise instead, and filed a government claim in 1895 under the name "Lick Skillet" mine. The King family still owns the property today, but the mine is no longer in operation. That dormancy is what makes Manassa rare. What exists in the market is what was already pulled from the ground. The stone ranges from a rich blue to green with a warm golden-brown matrix, and a character that sets it apart from anything else in the Southwest.

Silversmith

Second generation silversmith making heirloom quality jewelry true to Southwest tradition for over a decade. Chad's family has more than 200 years of history in New Mexico and you can see that heritage in his work.
